Amazon Launching ‘Amazon Paycode’ To Get Online Shoppers Pay In Cash

The company of Amazon has been working on figuring out the way to get its online shoppers to pay in cash. Finally, Amazon came up with ‘Amazon Paycode’ that let the online shoppers pay in cash. The introduction of this new feature of Amazon is the latest approach of the company to provide its customers with a comfortable experience. Amazon has been actively trying to better the experience of users and ‘Amazon Paycode’ is the latest attempt for that.

With the help of Amazon Paycode, online buyers can place their order. As soon as they complete their order they will have to visit any of the Western Union locations and pay in cash to them. The time limit would be 24 hours. You must deposit the money within a day otherwise your order will be canceled.

Amazon is trying to compete with Walmart with this feature. The company will be targetting the low-income group people with Amazon Paycode. There are more than 8 million low-income households in the United States and they do not possess any debit cards or credit cards or any other methods of online payments so by targetting them, Amazon will be making a great profit.

The Directors of Payments at Amazon, Ben Volk, released a statement in which he said that “Customers have told us they love the convenience of paying in cash. Together with Western Union, we’re able to offer customers more shopping choices, enabling them to pay for their online purchases in a way that is convenient for them.”
