Apple announces the iOS version 12.4 and watchOS 5.3

Apple has made an announcement of iOS 12.4 on Tuesday. The version provides an amazing feature of easy transfer of data from an old iPhone to a new one, even if you don’t have a backup on iCloud.

Before the update, you could quickly set up two iPhones or new iPads if they are kept besides each other. However, this transfer would be limited to hardly any data like your Apple ID and Wi-Fi settings. With the update you shall be able to transfer almost every data in your phone including messages, pictures, app settings and much more. However, apps would still be downloaded after the initial process is complete.

The update also includes enhancements to Apple News+ and also improves the security of your iPhone or iPad. The update in Apple News+ makes the downloaded issues accessible in My Magazines section (both offline and online). One can add all publications in Apple News+, including newspapers, to   catalog at top of News+ feed. One can also clear downloaded magazine issues by selecting History > Clear > Clear All.

The update also includes security fix for Walkie Talkie app on Apple Watch and re-enables Walkie Talkie functionality.

The WatchOS 5.3 has come up with Walkie Talkie app which was before disabled due to eavesdropping vulnerability. Like the Facetime app bugs, these were equally vulnerable. Now that Apple has fixed the issue in watchOS 5.3. The ECG and irregular heart rhythm notifications shall now be available in Singapore and Canada.

The launch of iOS 12.4 and Walkie Talkie app are amazingly awesome and shall defineitely make things much easier for iPhone and iPad users.
