Coinbase Includes EOS in its Cryptocurrency Education Rewards Program

If you are passionate about cryptocurrency, this is the right time to earn some tokes for your efforts. Coinbase, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has completed plans to reward crypto lovers with $10worth of EOS tokens simply by watching some cryptocurrency videos on its reward program, Coinbase Earn.

While attending Block.one event in Washington, D.C., Balaji S. Srinivasan, former Coinbase’s chief technology officer said: “We think a large number of people will obtain crypto not by buying it or mining, but by earning it.” He said this on behalf of his the crypto exchange on Saturday night.

Srinivasan and Tim Wagner, vice president of engineering, were on stage to announce the new addition to the reward program, Earn. With Earn, cryptocurrency users are allowed to get rewards as they learn about different protocols.

EOS is not doing this alone. Others in the Earn program include ZEC, XLM, XRX, and BAT. Alongside ESO, the program is now available in over 100 countries. There is currently over $100 million worth of digital currency as rewards for crypto lovers via the Earn website.

During the Block.one event that has hundreds of EOS fans in attendance, Wagner gave an insight into how Coinbase intends to make this program work. He said: “Behind the scenes of EOS showing up on our platform, Coinbase does deep analysis.”  He added: “For any of us to succeed, crypto must succeed.”

According to Coinmarketcap.com, as of press time, the EOS currently trades at $7.81.
