Emmy Awards 2019- Game Of Thrones sets a Record of Highest Nominations

The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards 2019 are to be aired on September 22nd, 2019 at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday. It is to be aired on FOX. The awards ceremony shall be held at Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles, California.

With 33 nominations, Game of Thrones has taken a lead of maximum nominations in the drama category for this year. The series seems to take away many awards home. This series, aired on HBO also makes HBO the network with maximum nominations. The nominations were declared on Tuesday.

Gwendoline Christie, Alfie Allen and Carice van Houten from Game of Thrones nominated themselves for the awards after knowing they weren’t originally nominated by  HBO for the Emmy Awards 2019. However, they finally received a nod and are now nominees for Outstanding Supporting Actress, Outstanding Supporting Actor, and Outstanding Guess Actress respectively. Gwendoline has proved her self worth and loved her work for which she got herself nominated. Salute to Ser Brienne of Tarth. She thanks the World for amazing respect she gained with this act of hers.
